Volcano Cake

 

For volcano cake we need a layer of shredded coconut, pecans , cake mix and cream cheese topped with chocolate ice-cream. It is super moist and fudgy in texture.This volcano cake is one of of those classic cakes which really live up to their name. It has gooey tunnels of goodness all around it. It looks just like a cheese surprise! It looks like just normal cake, but with each and every bite you have addition of the cream cheese mixture, melting chocolate ,coconut and pecans fill you with pleasure.

INGREDIENTS

  • Cocoa powder -4 tbsp
  • Melted butter-1/2 Cup
  • Cream cheese(softened)-1 pack
  • Granulated sugar-1.5 cup
  • Vanilla essence-1 tsp
  • Salt-1/4 tsp
  • Chocolate chips-for garnish
  • Chocolate ice-cream-for serving
  • Chopped pecans nut
  • Shredded coconut-1 /2 cup
  • Maida - 240 g

HOW TO PREPARE VOLCANO CAKE

Pre-heat oven at 175 degrees. Line a cake tin with liner. Keep it ready.


The pecan is a species of hickory native to mexico and the southern United States. available in market.

Their are many sizes of pecans mammoth, extra-large, medium, small and midget.

Cut it into small pieces.

Sprinkle coconut and  pecans onto bottom of prepared cake tin.

Take a bowl.

Seive maida .

Seive sugar and add into it.

Add  curd.

Add vanilla essence.

Mix it.

Now add olive oil.


Add cocoa powder.

Pour it into cake tin.

Add melted cheese.Mix it with spatulla


Bake it for  about 50 minutes or until center is set.

Serve  warm with ice-cream if desired.

Your volcano cake is ready.
