As you all know that Janamashtmi is on its way this week and we all have our own agendas for the same. This time I tried my hand over using fondant to make a Krishna. The creative way of indulging into the occasion. I would also like to thank my friends who always keep motivating me to try new things all the time. I have tried to represent Lord Krishna. I want to thank you all for supporting me. This is my 50th post till now.
INGREDIENTS
- Red fondant-10 g
- White fondant-10 g
- Food color - Black and green
- Skewer-1
- Icing sugar-as required
HOW TO MAKE LITTLE KRISHNA FONDANT
Take white fondant.Make shape like this using your hand.If you feel sticky or gluey ,use icing sugar to dry the fondant. |
Press it from the middle using your index finger. |
Reshape it such that it looks like a leg. |
This is how it will look once done. |
In the same way, reshape them to resmble the arms. To make it easy for you,
just differentiate between the thumb and the fingers as a whole as shown. |
Attach two round balls for head and body. Wrap red fondant around the body. |
Make a pot with red fondant and small round balls of white fondant.
Here the small balls represent "MAAKHAN" and it a "MATKI" as a whole. |
Place the matki near the body. |
Now attach arms. No need of gumpaste, it attaches on its own. |
It might look like this then. |
Now a round ball representing the head will be put in place..
You can decorate it and color it using skewer and food color. |
A small portion to cover the head representing hair. |
And a leaf on the head adds another level of satisfaction. |
We're done with it. Ready to be served. |
Thank You!
Stay Blessed!!
