Divine Cake ( Choco Fudge Cake)


 Whenever there is an occasion/ celebration in family, my favorite choice is chocolate cake! I made this cake two days ago on 14th June for my elder son's birthday.
I have been using this recipe for ages,its simple and one of the best recipe. Its moist,fudgy and has a deep chocolate flavor.The best part of this cake is it's both easy and quick.I decided to go with a classic chocolate frosting.However this cake is delicious,it doesn't need any frosting. Let me tell you, this divine chocolate cake will satisfy any chocolate lover's craving!
 

 INGREDIENTS


  • All purpose flour-250 gm
  • Unsweetened cocoa powder-75 gm
  • Baking powder-1 tsp
  • Baking soda-1/2 tsp
  • Granulated sugar-100 gm
  • Melted butter-100 gm
  • Vanilla essence-1 tsp
  • buttermilk-250 ml
  • Hot coffee-(1/2 tsp coffee powder+1/2 cup red food colour mixed in 1/2 cup hot water)
  • Dark compound chips-1/2 cup
  • Dark compound Chocolate (melted) - 4 tsp

HOW TO MAKE CHOCOLATE FUDGE CAKE


Preheat oven to 180 degrees for 15 minutes.

Grease 9 inches round cake tin and line bottom with perchment paper

Sieve sugar. 

Now sieve cocoa powder, baking soda, baking powder .

Sieve all purpose flour.

Now add coffee powder to the mixture.

Add butter.

Add butter milk.

Mix it properly.

Now add vanilla essence.

Mix it thoroughly using whisk for 2-3 minutes. Your batter is ready.

First of all, pour melted chocolate in the bottom of cake tin.

Now pour batter evenly into cake tin.

Bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.

No problem if there are cracks, its normal. Dont worry. Let it cool completely.

Melt dark compound chips.

Pour this on the top of the cake. You can also fill the cracks.

Time for decoration. Sprinkle silver balls over it.

Place cake in the fridge, for 20 minutes.
