Red Velvet Cake


This egg less Red velvet cake is light, moist and delicious. I have a very easy recipe for you. My husband is a big fan of Red velvet cake. Today is his birthday so i made this for him as a surprise. This cake is a token of love and joy. It will refresh your taste buds. I have used less whipped cream, you can use according to your own choice.

INGREDIENTS:

All purpose flour - 1 cup (125 g)
Cocoa powder - 1/4 cup
Sugar - 1 cup
Olive oil - 1/4 cup
Baking powder - 1 teaspoon
Baking soda - 1/2 teaspoon
Vanilla essence - 5 drops
Liquid red food color - 3 teaspoon
Hot coffee - 1/2 cup (1/2 teaspoon coffee added in 1/2 cup warm water)
Milk / water - 1/2 cup

PROCEDURE:

Preheat oven to 180 degrees for 20 mins.

Line up cake tin with liners and lightly spray with cooking spray.

Sieve cocoa powder


Sieve all purpose flour.

Sieve baking powder and baking soda.

Sieve sugar.

Add curd to the mixture.

Add liquid red color, vanilla essence , coffe in warm water. 
Add this liquid water to mixture.


Add olive oil.

Add 1/2 cup more water and mix it well.

Mix it with spatula for 1-2 mins so it incorporates completely.

Place it in preheated oven for 30 mins on 160 degrees heat.

Cake is ready. Do the toothpick test

Decorate with whipped cream.

And a cherry on the top.
