Punjabi pickles are world famous. If you are a pickle lover like me, you are going to love this. Here is a sore, spiced and tasty mango pickle recipe, made the traditional Punjabi way. I have learnt this recipe from my mother-in-law. Here is how to make this brilliant pickle.
INGREDIENTS
- Medium sized raw mangoes-5-6
- Methi dana(fenugreek seeds-2 tablespoon
- Yellow mustard seeds-2 tablespoon
- Fennel seeds whole-2 tablespoon
- Nigella seeds(kalonji)-1.5 tablespoon
- Turmeric powder-2 tablespoon
- Red chilli powder-1.5 tablespoon
- Salt as required
- Mustard oil as required
HOW TO MAKE MANGO PICKLE

Rinse and wipe dry the mangoes. |

Dice the mangoes. |

Assemble all masalas. |

Mix all the spices,and salt with the diced mangoes. |

Mix well so that the spices get coated on the mangoes. |

Put this spiced mango mixture in a jar and keep it in sunlight for 3-4 days. |
