Eggless Vanilla Sponge Cake (Next Step In Baking)



A light and fluffy Egg-less vanilla cake that can be made very easily. Also it looks very tempting and is PERFECT for any occasion. A very supportive snack with any kind of drink.

INGREDIENTS: (1 cup = 250 g)

  • Maida - 1.5 cup
  • Melted butter - 3 tablespoon
  • Sugar -  50 g
  • Vegetable Oil - 3 tablespoon
  • Curd - 1/3 cup
  • Baking powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Baking soda - 1/2 teaspoon

NOTE:


  1.  Whatever you are mixing for the cake with the hand or the hand mixer, you should mix in one   direction only to get soft cake.
  2.  Make sure all the ingredients are at room temperature before you start mixing.
  3.  Make sure you oven settings are correct, else cake won't come out proper. 

HOW TO MAKE EGG-LESS VANILLA CAKE:

Preheat oven at 175 degrees for 10 minutes.

Assemble all ingredients. 

Grease cake tin with cooking oil. 
  
Keep it ready with a butter paper.

In a medium bowl, firstly sieve the flour , baking powder and baking soda.

Now add sugar.

Mix it well.

Now add curd and some hot water.

Now add vegetable oil.

Add Vanilla essence .
Mix well.
Pour the batter in cake tin.
Bake it in pre heated oven for 30-35 minutes.


Perform a Toothpick test when cooled for 10 minutes.

You can decorate it and serve it with Chocolate gnash.
 
Or just have it with an all time favourite (TEA)
